Phoenix mayor Phil Gordon invites you to celebrate the holiday season, light the City’s Christmas tree, and view its Hanukkah menorah. There will be kids’ activities, including a chance to visit with Santa Claus. And it all takes place within a snow-filled Cesar Chavez Plaza in downtown Phoenix.
The event is free. You’re encouraged to bring a can of non-perishable food to help feed the hungry during these challenging economic times. After the event, there will be a FREE Light Rail ride for the first 500 people at 7 p.m., 7:15 p.m., 7:30 p.m.
