Downtown Phoenix is undergoing a tremendous transformation due in no small part to decades of hard work from residents, businesses, developers, artists, preservation advocates, and community volunteers. Our central urban corridor has a unique and evolving list of complex issues not present throughout the rest of our city. For nearly 17 years, Downtown Voices Coalition has served as a living room for openly discussing these complexities.
The membership of Downtown Voices, residents, and other advocates of our Downtown and surrounding neighborhoods are eager to hear from the two candidates for Council District 7 – Yassamin Ansari and Cinthia Estela – to better understand their vision and possible handling of the issues deeply important to us all.
