[Source: Eugene Scott, Arizona Republic, November 2, 2012] – Downtown Phoenix governmental and business leaders hope to launch an all-encompassing organization that will manage and direct all aspects of downtown. Downtown Phoenix Inc. would serve as an umbrella organization for several non-profit groups active in the revitalization of downtown Phoenix. Downtown Phoenix Partnership leaders announced the effort at their October meeting.
