[Source: Valley Leadership Class XXX] — Valley Leadership Class XXX was tasked with investigating a controversial issue, and our group chose to explore the pros and cons of downtown Phoenix redevelopment. Has it been a long-awaited boost to the newly named “urban heart of the Southwest”? Or has it been too much time, effort and money invested in new projects, leaving old Phoenix behind? Over the next several weeks we will interview key leaders on both sides of the issue in retail, housing, sports, transportation, education, and other key areas contributing to the future of Phoenix.
