On June 6, 2011, the Downtown Voices Coalition held a Phoenix Mayoral Candidate Forum that addressed the candidates’ views on downtown Phoenix’s past and what their visions for the future were. In attendance were Wes Gullett, Claude Mattox, Peggy Neely, Greg Stanton, and Jennifer Wright. Two write-in candidates made a two-minute speech at the opening: Thane Eichenauer and Alex Malkoun.
The debate was hosted at the Lexington Hotel in downtown Phoenix and was moderated by The Arizona Republic‘s Richard Ruelas. A video of the debate is available on YouTube.
