Phoenix Council subcommittee votes to pilot longer weekend light rail hours

phoenix-light-rail-christmasEarlier this week, the Phoenix City Council’s Transportation & Infrastructure Subcommittee, chaired by Council Member Peggy Neely, voted to approve a one-year pilot program to extend Phoenix light rail hours to 2 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday mornings.  The issue now goes before the full City Council.  To voice your opinion about this matter, contact your Member of Council[Note: To view Downtown Voices Coalition August 28, 2008 statement on extending light rail hours, click here.]
