[Source: Mike Sunnucks, Phoenix Business Journal] — Katie Pushor is out as president and chief executive of the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, one of the state’s largest and most influential business groups. Pushor resigned Thursday from her post, but will stay on the job until June while the chamber searches for a successor.
Pushor took over as Phoenix chamber president in 2006 after serving as director of the Arizona Lottery. She succeeded long-time Phoenix chamber President Valerie Manning.
Chamber Chairman Andy McCain said the business group is beginning to look for a new CEO. “The board is forming a search committee to consider applicants to replace Katie,” said McCain, the adopted stepson of U.S. Sen. John McCain. [Note: To read the full article, click here.]
