[Source: Casey Newton, Arizona Republic] — The effort to bring Phoenix campaign-finance documents online is complete. The city says:
Campaign finance-related documents from last year’s city of Phoenix mayor and council and runoff elections are now available on line on the City Clerk Department’s Web site and clicking on “Official Records.” The site includes campaign finance reports and committee registration documents for candidate committees as well as other political committees. Use the key word “political action committee” to begin your search. To narrow your search, click on the “Advanced” search option and check the box for “Campaign Finance Report or Political Committee Registration Documents.”
Posting the records online will allow anyone who’s interested to see who’s fueling the rise of Phoenix’s elected officials. For more information, call 602-262-6837. [Editor’s Note: a permanent link is located on Downtown Voices Coalition website, under the category, “Where can I find…”]
