Unique, vibrant urban spaces blend old and new, like Phoenix’s Bentley Gallery

The first business to benefit from the City of Phoenix’s New Market Tax Credit program was the Bentley Gallery at 215 E. Grant St. in Phoenix’s historic warehouse district.  The gallery owner received a $3 million loan to finance the acquisition of the land and building, as well as pay for capital improvements of the property.  In addition to the gallery, the building houses the Poisoned Pen Bookstore and CityBakery restaurant.
