Phoenix offers up $1.4B infrastructure “wish list” to stimulate economy
The U.S. Conference of Mayors has identified more than 4,500 infrastructure projects that could begin immediately and could be completed by the end of 2009 — seeking to quell criticism that such projects take too long to help the struggling economy.
