Downtown Voices Coalition supports effort to defeat Arizona’s Prop 200

On Saturday, September 13, 2008, the Downtown Voices Coalition steering committee voted 9-0, with one abstention, to support the Arizonans for Responsible Lending in urging Arizona voters to defeat Proposition 200, the so-called “Payday Loan Reform Act.”  For more information about Arizonans for Responsible Lending and their efforts, click here.

  1. Prop 200 is NOT a reform! We don’t need pay day loan sharks in Arizona. I’m so glad Downtown Voices has joined the fight!
